Lovely place over looking River Nile, peaceful and quiet. We stayed for two nights in the cottage and really appreciated it.
The cottage has everything one could wish for. A refreshing bath in the bathtub on the balcony is so relaxing. The Kipling lodge and the river are in walking distance. The second evening we had a bbq. Everybody is nice and helpful! Hopefully we'll be back some day!
Baobab Cottage is hands-down the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. The house and all of the amenities are amazing, and Stella and Henry were so lovely and helpful. The view can't possibly be captured in photographs, and it will take your breath away when you arrive. We loved having a fully-equipped kitchen, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were top-notch. The road coming in is a bit rough, but the directions are precise and easy-to-follow.
Maya the cat is definitely the queen of the castle, and the dogs are delightful and energetic. I cannot rave enough about this house and property, and if I'm ever lucky enough to make it back to Uganda, Baobab will be the first place I go! Perfect for our 2 families and lots of games for the kids to play. The kids loved 'visiting' the guinea pigs and rabbits!
This is a great place to rest and relax and enjoy views over the nile. Good to know that you need to bring your own drinking water. We had a lovely stay, nice spacious for four adults and two happy toddlers. Loved the wooden cabin upstairs. We hope to visit again! Charlie's place provides a truly wonderful "respite" from the noise and bustle of Kampala: the accommodation is spacious and very well equipped.
