Once you are there they will hold you hostage for your tab. Just got back from there. Cab driver took me and my buddy there when we asked him 5 times to take us to a disco techa. Then when we refused they called the police whom we had to pay not to take us to jail after we agreed to pay the tabs and did pay.
Once back in the USA we filed claims with our banks not to pay. The same driver that dropped us off at Willy's and originally drove off before we could pay him Candy -- I think they call it freedom of speech. He can forum that topic if he wants. Everyone starts out somewhere. This is his first post. You and I had first posts at one time. Absolutely he can post anything he wants. But who will believe him? Not me. Have you ever heard of a taxi driver that leaves without payment????
I gotta say that if you are having 7 drinks each in the middle of the afternoon in 90mins than you probably get what you deserve. I'm shocked you have never heard of cab drivers taking people to places that they get a kick back from. They do this all the time in Mexico. Doesn't just happen to bars, it happens for shopping and restaurants.
I don't doubt that they guy got taken but I have hard time imagining him not know where he was going. I loved the part where the police got to pick out the mordita from his selection of crisp USD in his wallet It took five drinks to ask for a tab?
