I ordered some food. Picked it up. Noticed that it started leaking all over my Mercedes. I called them to advise I noticed they had not closed the lids properly. They said it was my fault. I said I dont want anything but next time After a long drive and having had nothing much to eat since breakfast, we were ready for more than simple take-aways.
The main street of Upper Hutt had a number of eating places open but we both thought Thai would be nice. It wasn't busy The warm welcome from jovial attendants makes you feel at home.
There is a wide variety of meals to chose from and the meals are prepared i your presence and very affordable. My daughter and I went here as it seemed like a quick and easy meal It is what it is Fast food, bland and greasy. The tables and floor are slippery and it feels like a youth club or rest bite for down and outs! Fast, cheap and bloody Yum! Great choices, good friendly service. Hardly sit down and your meals arrive. To many favourite dishes to name. Nothing fancy about restaurant but clean and tidy.
Whenever I need a good and reliable snack or meal this is where i go as it has many options and reasonable pricing. It is near our residence and is near the mall in case you want a side trip to the mall. Staff are We eat there twice a month and the food is very good espeically their Penang Curry. The Chef is from Thailand so that might explan the fabulous flavour. My wife is asian and she can eat spicy food and she thinks their spicy hot meals I would only get takeways here because it does not allow alchohol.
Food was giid but lacked the spice I am use to. Would go again but ask for something different. Very nicely set up, clean and airy. Food was quick to appear from ordering, good amounts on the plates and well presented.
