Lovely street, nice restaurants and bars. Architecture is great. This street is ruined though by promotors from strip clubs. A group of 20 stretching the street, approach you like some possessed stalker. Free beer, free free free is all you here.
They however don't here no no no no thank you in return. Four days of the same rabble approached us, so we had to find ways to entertain ourselves by saying NO. The main morons worked for a strip club that was raided a week earlier for drugging these 'free' drinks, and when we told them we knew, some started to back off. Don't be fooled by the free line. It will lead to you being backed into a dark strip club, with a big Polish bouncer on the door, so you will end up paying.
However we did find a lovely strip club where we could talk about politics and have a free dance and even a kiss!! Enjoyed a cheap beer and left. That did amaze me, so stay away from Obsession as they have a bad rep, but enjoy the street and the entertainers on it. A nice street to relax in any evening environment. This is the main street of Old town Gdansk. Most touristic attraction can be found here.
Great restaurants, street actors, Lovely atmosphere. This street or square rather is just amazing, to be standing in parts of the city that are thousands of years old, surrounded by some amazing buildings mostly occupied by boutique hotels, great little souvenir shops and excellent restaurants and coffee shops..
This is a must see destination. We really enjoyed the charming home and building facades, Old Town Hall, St. Nice artitecture, many restaurants, bars and tourist shops other tourist stuff. If you go to Gdansk make a stop at Dluga Street. It contains beautiful town-houses and many excellent restaurants.
